What happens during a platform outage?

Learn how the LingoCulture team responds to technical outages and how we keep you informed during downtime.
Updated 1 month ago

While outages are rare at LingoCulture, tech issues can occasionally happen. When things don't go according to plan, our priority is getting you back to your French studies as fast as possible. On s'en occupe! (We're on it!)

What We Do When Things Go Wrong

Our technical team is constantly monitoring the platform. The moment we receive reports that something is not working as it should, we take action immediately:

  • Our team is alerted instantly

  • We investigate to find exactly where the issue occurred

  • We work to identify and fix the issue so the platform can return to normal as quickly as possible

If you suspect the platform is down but haven't seen an update yet, try refreshing your browser or clearing your cache first. Sometimes the issue is just a stubborn cookie!

How We Keep You Informed

  • Platform Banners: Look for a colored bar at the top of your dashboard with live status updates

  • Live Chat: If the chat widget is still functional, our team will provide updates there

  • Email: For major or prolonged issues, we will send an update directly to your inbox

What About My Class?

If an outage prevents you from attending a scheduled class, don't panic!

  • Credits: If the platform goes down during your lesson time, we will ensure your class credit is returned to your account.

  • Attendance: Outage-related absences will never count against your attendance record.

If the platform is working but you are having personal internet issues, please try to notify us via email as soon as you can so we can help you manage your booking.

Our goal is always to restore functionality quickly and keep you informed every step of the way. Merci for your patience and for being part of the LingoCulture family!
