My class didn't go as expected - what should I do?

What to do if your LingoCulture class didn't meet expectations. Learn how to share feedback, report issues, and how our team handles concerns with care.
Updated 4 weeks ago

Not every class will be perfect, and that's okay. If something felt off, we want to know. Your experience matters, and your voice helps us maintain the quality we promise. On vous ecoute! (We're listening!)

When Should You Share Feedback?

Definitely let us know if:

  • The teacher was rude, dismissive, or disrespectful

  • The teacher didn't follow LingoCulture standards (late, unprepared, distracted)

  • Your preferences or requests were ignored

  • There were technical issues that impacted the class

  • You felt uncomfortable for any reason

You can also share if:

  • The teaching style didn't match your learning style

  • The pace was too fast or too slow

  • You simply didn't connect with that teacher

Sometimes you just won't click with a teacher, and that's completely normal! You can try different teachers without reporting anything. But if something felt genuinely wrong or unprofessional, please tell us.

How to Share Your Experience

Option 1: Leave Feedback Through the Platform (Anonymous to Teachers)

After your class ends, you'll see a feedback option on the platform. Your feedback is anonymous to teachers, they won't know it came from you. Best for general feedback when you don't need an immediate response.

Option 2: Live Chat (For Direct Support)

Click the chat bubble in the bottom right corner. Tell us the teacher's name, date and time of the class, what happened, and how you'd like us to help. We respond within 2 minutes during working hours.

Option 3: Email Valentine, Customer and Teacher Experience Manager

Contact: [email protected]

Valentine is our Customer and Teacher Experience Manager and personally handles student concerns about classes and teachers. Include your name, teacher's name, date and time, and a description of what happened. Same-day response on working days.

You can use [email protected] for class/teacher concerns. For technical or billing issues, use [email protected] instead!

What Happens After You Report?

  1. We review your feedback carefully

  2. We meet with the teacher to understand their perspective

  3. We take appropriate action (coaching, training, or more serious interventions for major violations)

  4. We maintain high standards to protect the experience for all students

Specific actions taken with teachers are private company information. We won't share details about teacher consequences, but rest assured, every concern is addressed appropriately.

What If You Just Want a Different Teacher?

You don't need to report anything to switch teachers! If you simply didn't connect with a teacher or their style wasn't right for you, just browse the teacher list and try someone new. You can also ask us for recommendations, tell us what you're looking for and we'll help you find the right match.

Common Questions

Q: Will the teacher know I reported them?
A: Feedback through the platform is anonymous to teachers. If you contact us directly, we handle your concern confidentially and professionally.

Q: What if I'm not sure if something was "bad enough" to report?
A: When in doubt, share it! We'd rather hear about small concerns than miss something important.

Q: Will reporting affect my account or access to classes?
A: Absolutely not. You will never face consequences for honest feedback.
