Ever wonder how a new teacher knows exactly where you left off in your last class? At LingoCulture, every teacher has access to your complete learning history through our internal documentation system. On suit votre progres! (We track your progress!)

The Internal Documentation System

After every single class, your teacher completes a detailed internal document recording your progress, strengths, and learning journey. Think of it as your personal French learning passport that travels with you from class to class!

What's Included?

  • Topics and materials covered in class

  • Your progress and areas of focus

  • Any goals or preferences you've shared

  • What to work on in future lessons

The more you communicate your needs and preferences, the better teachers can personalize your classes. Tell us what helps you learn best!

You Can Influence What Gets Noted!

  • Share your goals during class: "I'm preparing for a job interview in French"

  • Mention your preferences: "I prefer slower pace" or "Please don't switch to English"

  • Tell our support team anything you want all teachers to know, we'll add it to your file immediately!

Switching Between Teachers: How It Works

When you book a class with a new teacher, they can review all the notes from every teacher you've worked with before. They'll know your current level, what you've been working on, your goals, and your preferences. You never have to repeat yourself!

This is why you can confidently try 3-5 different teachers at the beginning without worrying about losing progress or continuity!

Is This Information Shared With Me?

The internal documents are confidential teaching tools. However, you absolutely can get summaries and insights!

  • Ask your teacher to share highlights during or after class: "Could you share a summary of what we covered today?"

  • Request AI notes (see Are the AI notes from my class saved? for details)

  • Take your own notes during class!

Common Questions

Q: Can I request to see my internal documentation?
A: The internal documents are confidential teaching tools. However, you can always ask your teacher for progress summaries or feedback!

Q: How do I know teachers are actually reading these notes?
A: You'll notice! New teachers will reference things you've worked on, pick up where you left off, and know your goals without you explaining. That's the documentation at work!

Q: If I tell the support team my preferences, how quickly will teachers see them?
A: We add your preferences to your file immediately, so they'll be visible to any teacher you book with going forward!
