If you have issues with slow connections or bugs with Zoom then you can use Google Hangouts. Your teacher will let you know if they prefer it for your lesson if there are issues.

How to use Google Hangouts?

1. If needed for a faster internet connection, your teacher will ask you to use Google Hangouts.
2. Your teacher will send you a link to the class via the chat on Zoom.
3. If your teacher has trouble connecting to Zoom then you will receive an email with an invitation to your Google Hangout.

4. Before the call, Google may ask for permission to use your microphone and camera. If prompted for this, simply click “allow”

Next select “Join Hangout” to start your class*If you use Google Hangouts with the same teacher more than once, simply visit https://hangouts.google.com/ at the time of your class and should be able to find your teacher from the list of previous conversations.
