At LingoCulture, we offer flexible scheduling to support your busy routine. To keep things fair for our teachers and ensure great availability for everyone, we have a clear policy for cancellations and no-shows.

The 24-Hour Notice Rule

If you need to cancel a class, please do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

  • Early Cancellation: Any cancellation made more than 24 hours in advance carries no penalty.

  • Last-Minute Cancellation: Any class cancelled less than 24 hours before it starts will result in a penalty.

Your first last-minute cancellation comes with a warning and no penalty. From your second late cancellation onward, the penalties below apply.

Penalties for Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Plan Type

Penalty

Starter, Lite, Steady, and Hourly Plans

The class credit is deducted as if the class had been taken.

Package Plans

The class credit is deducted as if the class had been taken.

Unlimited Plans

A $15.00 penalty fee will be charged to your account.

What Happens After a No-Show?

If you miss a class without cancelling, you'll need to confirm your attendance for your next booked classes. If you don't confirm at least 30 minutes before your next class starts (or within 24 hours of our notification), all your future booked classes will be cancelled automatically.

You will never lose class time because a teacher didn't show up. If your teacher misses the class, your credit is always protected.

High Volume Cancellation Policy

To keep the platform fair for everyone, we monitor the total number of cancellations per week:

  • You may cancel up to 5 classes per week (early cancellations count too).

  • If you cancel more than 5 classes in a single week, all your future bookings will be removed from the calendar.

  • If this happens 3 times in one calendar year, your account will be permanently banned with no refund.

Same-Day and Consecutive Classes

  • Consecutive classes cancelled at the last minute count as only one cancellation for limit purposes. Only the first class will be charged (for Unlimited plans).

  • Non-consecutive classes booked on the same day are treated as separate sessions and evaluated individually.

  • If you no-show for your first class of the day, you must confirm attendance for the rest of your classes. If you don't, the remaining sessions will be cancelled. Only the first missed session will be billed.

How to Cancel Properly
